It was an oppurtunity for my kids to experience what we enjoyed the most with our daily routines in the late eighties and early nineties, back then there were no cell phones and just a couple of TV channels on DD,reading was one of our favourite pass times if you understand what I mean to say. It was a sense of nostalgia and it allows me to share the same experience with my children today. Will see towards acquiring more literature from you, Thanks !

Comes as a combo-pack with tales of Tenali Rama, Birbal and Gopal. The stories are hilarious and the illustrations and language, top-notch! Brought back fond memories of my school days. Can be read and appreciated by both children and adults alike. Nothing quite like Amar Chitra Katha! Highly recommended!

Nice collection of stories of Tenali Raman and Birbal etc.

Both me and my son loved reading this book. It has five books in it : 2 of Tenali Raman, 2 of Birbal and 1 of Gopal (a character of wit from Bengal). The individual books have further small stories.The hardcover edition makes a beautiful addition to your collection. The size of each animation (sketches and font) are large enough for children.The stories would sure entertain them.Recommended Age for self reading : 9+
